Tai' Chi Gung Colorado

We're thrilled that you've discovered the Circle of Chi and the transformative practice of Tai Chi Gung. You've taken the first step on a journey that has the potential to profoundly impact your life, just as it has for countless others around the globe. Let's explore what makes Tai Chi Gung so special and why we're excited to share it with you.

What is Tai Chi Gung?

Tai Chi Gung was developed by Boganathar, a profound Siddha yoga master from India who spent more than 50 years immersed in Nature. In China, this great sage was known as Lao Tzu.

After serving the emperor of the middle kingdom for several decades, Lao Tzu moved to Tibet. After 50 more years of preparation perfecting this regenerative art, Lao Tzu opened a school of Tai Chi Gung and trained 12 Master Lamas. His system of health has been passed down in an unbroken lineage for more than 3000 years.

Tai Chi Gung exercises connect students to the life force in Nature through simple standing movements with the balanced breath. Lao Tzu knew from his Siddhi Yoga roots that breathing chi, or prana, brings the life force of Nature into the physical body.

Simply put, Lao Tzu discovered the secret to health and longevity by immersing himself in Nature. And he created a series of exercises to help people do what he did.

These gentle standing exercises bring peace of mind, balance, grounding, vitality and physical strength.

Tai Chi Gung is a holistic approach to wellness that integrates mind, body, and spirit in a way that’s accessible to everyone, regardless of age, fitness level, or background.

Meet Your Teacher

David Paul: Certified Tai Chi Gung Master

David has been practicing Lao Tzu’s art of regeneration for more than 37 years. He is the only Master of Tai Chi Gung living in the United States. He serves as the director of teacher training for North America.

“I found Tai Chi Gung in my mid 20s while playing full time in a symphony. The relief from the stress of performing was incredible. When my Kundalini opened, the creativity in music went through the roof.

I’ve been teaching Tai Chi Gung for more than 25 years. It’s become one of my soul’s passions.

One thing I really like about Lao Tzu’s system is that the exercises are simple, like scales and arpeggios in music. You go in depth and really learn what the movements do to raise your energy.”

Can I Join a Class Anytime?

Lao Tzu created a series of warm ups and 4 basic Standing Exercises that are the core of every class. These are simple moving and breathing exercises that help students feel the life energy of Nature directly. Almost 90% of students feel it in their very first class.

Whether you have been studying 6 minutes, 6 months or 6 years, you do the simple movements you learned in your very first class. They serve as an outline, and each student connects in their own way.

Because we don't hold back exercises, and they remain consistent, new students can join a live class any time. You'll feel right at home!

What Should I Wear?

Comfortable street clothes are fine. The class is done standing up, and it's so gentle you won't break a sweat!

Music Inspired by Nature

I began my working life as a full time symphony violinist. In the beginning, Tai Chi Gung really helped me manage the stress of performing.

It wasn't long before the exercises opened up my creativity. I went from someone who only read notes on a page, to being able to play an entire new piece directly from Spirit.

For those looking for background music to practice Tai Chi Gung, Yoga or meditation; there are pieces 90 minutes long called "Music for Spiritual Transformation". I upload one new selection like this each month.
